Rescued Horses On the Mend Under Horse Trust Care
Nearly two weeks have now passed since the first 14 horses were evacuated from the farm in Buckinghamshire, into the care of The Horse Trust. These animals are responding well to the good food, water, shelter and TLC that the Trust's staff provide, as they start their journey back to health.
The Trust has also received generous gifts of horse rugs, feed, bedding, volunteers' time and of course cash donations to help fund the necessary expensive veterinary treatment. There is still much to be done and all donations are both essential and hugely welcome.
During this time, the RSPCA has been working to collate evidence on the condition of the living animals and the numbers of the dead.
To avoid compromising the potential consequences of the RSPCA's work, The Horse Trust will not now make any further comment on the case unless or until it is invited to do so by the Courts.
