The Home of Rest for Horses has today
sadly said goodbye to Clover, the pretty bay mare who
was rescued from a field where she was found dirty and
starving.
Clover spent many happy months with
her new friends at The Home where she received an abundance
of loving care from the grooms. She responded slowly
but positively to a controlled feeding regime and began
to gain weight and things looked hopeful.
However, over the past few weeks
her years of neglect finally caught up with her and
her condition deteriorated to a point where the hard
decision was made to put her to sleep.
During her short time at Westcroft
Stables Clover had captivated the hearts of many of
our supporters and visitors and will missed by everyone.
