Why we need you help …
A dependable income is something The Horse Trust relies upon and we are not immune to the current economic climate. Support for charities like ours is vital and we rely completely on generous donations from our supporters. All the costs for the care of our horses is entirely funded by the public and as an independent charity The Trust does not receive any UK government or other funding.
The work of The Horse Trust is diverse - from providing a place of retreat for the horses, ponies and donkeys in our care, to our commitment to deliver training for owners and professionals, such as the police and trading standard inspectors, as well as our ongoing funding of ethical scientific research programmes.
Just at the time when the need for our work to help horses is increasing it is becoming even harder to raise much needed funds.
